The popular A+ certification for PC technicians was established in 1993 by CompTIA – The Computing Technology Industry Association. The aim of the A+ certification is demonstrate a basic knowledge of supporting microcomputers. The certification is achieved by taking two computer-based multiple-choice examinations. The A certification is widely recognised in the computer industry, and significantly improves a technicians ability to secure and keep employment. The course aims to teach you to perform tasks such as installation, repairing, configuration, troubleshooting,optimizing, diagnosing and preventive maintenance in the context of the field service or enterprise environment. The main objective of the course is to teach all the necessary topics in order pass the A+ Certification Examination with flying colours. The course is designed around a practical hands-on approach to PC Repair and trouble-shooting to ensure all attendees receive real world practice at completing the tasks they will be tested on during the examination and so master the fundamentals of PC hardware and the Windows system software.
